Frequently Asked Questions
If your major kitchen and laundry appliances break down due to age or normal wear and tear, your basic homeowners insurance is unlikely to cover the repairs. Our protection plans help offset the expense of appliance failures, and also remove the stress of finding a reliable repair technician. When a covered appliance goes on the fritz you can file a claim online or by phone, and we'll make arrangements for an experienced technician to evaluate the issue and make the necessary repairs.
This plan covers all parts and components located within and necessary to the operation of one of each of the following residential appliances:
- Range, or oven and cooktop
- Kitchen refrigerator with ice maker
- Dishwasher
- Built-in microwave
Parts covered include items like dishwasher pumps and motors, refrigerator thermostats, oven ignitors and much more. Repairs on these items are covered up to the limits set forth in your Terms and Conditions. If your authorized repair technician determines that any covered appliance is deemed irreparable we'll give you a credit of $500 towards a replacement appliance by your authorized repair technician.
This plan covers all parts and components located within and necessary to the operation of one residential clothes washer and one residential clothes dryer. Repairs on these items are covered up to the limits set forth in your Terms and Conditions. If your authorized repair technician determines that any covered appliance is deemed irreparable we'll give you a credit of $500 towards a replacement appliance by your authorized repair technician.
Venting, plumbing, gas and electrical piping to and from each covered appliance or unit are excluded unless covered under another plan.
Kitchen and laundry plans are available in all states and Washington, D.C., with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii.
Once you enroll, there is a 30-day waiting period before coverage starts. This only applies to your initial year of coverage; if you decide to renew after your first 12-month term, you won't experience any gap in coverage. You are covered under the plan for 12 months. We may elect to renew your plan by notifying you of the renewal terms (including any price changes) within 60 days prior to expiration of coverage. Unless we elect not to renew your plan, you will be automatically renewed for another one-year term at the then standard rate and terms.
If you do not want to automatically renew your plan, you may notify us in writing prior to the plan expiration date.

If a covered item breaks down, you can file a claim online 24/7/365, or call us at (855) 334-3577 and we'll arrange for a qualified technician to evaluate the issue and make necessary repairs.
You can cancel your plan at any time.
If you cancel your plan within 30 days of your coverage start date, you're entitled to full refund of the amount you have paid. If you cancel more than 30 days after the start date and haven't received services under the plan, you will be entitled to a prorated refund for any payments you've made for the unexpired term of your contract. If you have received services under the plan and you cancel before the end of the 12-month term, you may owe the lesser of the amount due for the unexpired term or the cost of the services under the plan.
