What kind of plans can I choose from?

We offer maintenance, repair, and combined maintenance and repair plans for your heating, cooling, heating and cooling combined, plumbing and electrical systems. We also offer protection for your external water and sewer lines, and surge protection for your valuable electronics and appliances. Please see specific plans for details.

What options do I have to pay for this service?

We accept bank drafts (EFT/ACH) and credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).

How long am I covered by the plan?

Each plan is for one year and at our election will automatically renew on an annual basis at the then current standard rate unless customer opts out of the auto-renewal option in writing by mail at P.O. Box 500, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 or by email at cancel@hwahomewarranty.com.

When does the plan coverage start?

There is a 30-day waiting period before coverage begins during the initial term year for the repair plans. If you choose the maintenance only plan, coverage begins immediately.

Can I cancel my plan if I'm not satisfied?

If you haven't received services under the plan, you may cancel the plan at any time without penalty. If you have received services under the plan and you cancel before the end of the 12 month term, you may owe the lesser of the amount due for the unexpired term or the cost of the services under the plan. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions of your plan for full details.

What happens after the 12 months?

We may elect to renew your plan by notifying you of the renewal terms (including any price changes) within 60 days prior to expiration of coverage. Unless we elect not to renew your plan, you will be automatically renewed for another one year term at the then standard rate and terms unless you notify us, in writing, prior to the plan expiration at PO Box 500, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 or by email at cancel@hwahomewarranty.com.
