Discounted rates on the Direct Energy Essentials Plans are only available in the first year of the plan. After the initial term of 12 months under the customer agreement, the plan will automatically renew at the then current standard rate and terms. Offer ends June 30, 2013.

How Can a Heating and Cooling Essentials Plan Help Me?Your home's heating and air conditioning is a complex system that ensures your family's comfort. Many of our plans include an annual maintenance visit on covered items, no service visit charges, no deductibles, and 24/7 emergency service if you need it.

How long am I covered by the plan?Each plan is for one year and at our election will automatically renew on an annual basis at the then current standard rate unless customer opts out of the auto-renewal option in writing by mail at P.O. Box 850, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When does the plan coverage start?There is a 30-day waiting period before coverage begins during the initial term year for the repair plans. If you choose the maintenance only plan, coverage begins immediately.
Can I cancel my plan if I'm not satisfied?If you haven?t received services under the plan, you may cancel the plan at any time without penalty. If you have received services under the plan and you cancel before the end of the 12 month term then you may owe the lesser of the amount due for the unexpired term or the cost of the services under the plan. Please refer to Section 12 in the Terms & Conditions for full details.
What happens after the 12 months?We may elect to renew your plan by notifying you of the renewal terms (including any price changes) within 60 days prior to expiration of coverage. Unless we elect not to renew your plan, you will be automatically renewed for another one year term at the then standard rate and terms unless you notify us, in writing, prior to the plan expiration at PO Box 850, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 or by email at email@example.com.
The Direct Energy Essentials Plans ("Plan") are provided by Home Warranty of America, Inc., a Direct Energy company. Direct Energy's affiliates, franchisees, and/or independent contractors will be performing various services under the Plan. Customers must sign up for 1-year commitment (the "Initial Term").There is a 30-day waiting period before coverage begins under the Repair Plan. Upon expiration of the Initial Term, the Plan will automatically renew at our then current standard rate and terms unless the customer opts out of the auto-renewal option in writing by mail at P.O. Box 850, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sales tax will be added in select states.
